Super Evil Megacorp is developing a game based on an upcoming Netflix series

The news comes on the heels of Netflix's announcement that it will add 40 new games to its library in 2023, including Super Evil Megacorp (Vainglory, Catalyst Black). Ubisoft’s Mighty Quest Rogue Palace Netflix exclusive development announcement only gives us a glimpse of what's to come, not the exact content of the game or Netflix series.

Netflix currently has 70 games in development with partners and 16 in-house. Netflix has already released 55 titles since launching its gaming service in November 2021. This year, Netflix intends to continue expanding its game library by adding new titles every month.

Netflix has announced a new partnership with Super Evil Megacorp, the developer of popular titles such as Vainglory and Catalyst Black, on a brand-new Netflix exclusive game. As per the announcement, the project will be based on a forthcoming Netflix release.

According to the Super Evil Megacorp games, the theme was more emphasized in the MOBA genre immersed mixed with action elements, which gives us an idea of what is to come. But we never know what the creators have in mind.

Super Evil Megacorp's recruitment campaign is also in full swing, indicating the scope of the project. A Lead Animator has already been hired, and the team has added 19 new positions, most likely to work on the Netflix project.

The game's lush, hand-painted environments, combined with a soothing soundtrack, make it a meditative experience. After restoring the ecosystem, players can use Appreciate mode to admire their efforts. Terra Nil will be exclusively available on Netflix beginning March 28.
